Richard Recco is a screenwriter and semi-figurative abstract painter whose work includes 3,000 Miles to Graceland, starring Kevin Costner and Kurt Russell; Officer Down, which he wrote, directed, and produced and which received Spike Lee’s Babelgum Award for Best Picture at Cannes; and Yossel, a feature screenplay adapted from Joe Kubert’s Eisner Award–nominated DC graphic novel.

He brings more than two decades of experience ghostwriting commercial film and television projects.

His latest project, The Arrangement, a prestige television series, is now complete and currently being prepared for presentation to major streaming platforms.
